	History of JAA

	From the chairperson
	We need to ensure that our fundamentals are in place: a robust economy with appropriately regulated financial systems, a stable land tenure system and, above all, the rule of law. We see the JAA as the voice of the profession in Johannesburg, the engine room of the SA economy. We render our services without remuneration of any kind and we are accountable only to our members. The JAA will continue to do whatever it can to ensure that the rule of law is upheld.
